Maverick Athenaeum Social Events Calendar Activities
Taco night: With such an explicit name, little introduction or explanation is needed. As soon as night falls, we all switch into taco mode and enjoy this international dish as a family. You might think it’s just an excuse to eat tacos and socialise, and you’d be absolutely right.
Open mic: Open mic nights, for those brave souls who want to show off their wit and originality, or try to chat up that girl with your velvety, melodious voice. Good luck.
Karaoke: Although when it comes to showing off your voice, karaoke night is your night. It doesn’t matter if you sing well, badly or terribly, what matters is how much effort you put in and how much fun you have.
Margaret Island Picnic: Once a month, as a general rule, we gather food and drinks and head to Margarita Island for a picnic, to chat and discover new corners of the city that you won’t see on the free tours.
