We know that our company is a very small drop in a large ocean, but the Maverick Team still believes that it needs to take responsibility for its own emmission and it is important to make an effort to compensate Earth for the many beauty it gives us, otherwise it will hit back at humanity hard and quick.
This is why as a first step we looked for solutions that would help us balance our CO2 output, and so far the best mode we discovered was offsetting it through certified projects. Doing this has actually been more simple than we thought initially. It takes just a few minutes on the website to find out your total emissions with a carbon footprint calculator and after getting your results you can buy the necessary CO2 offset quota right there at an affordable rate.

Boutique hostel in downtown Budapest
The Maverick Student Lodge is a new hostel concept in the center of Budapest. We have created a very flexible place that offers you the chance to stay just a few days or even an entire semester or academic year while enjoying the benefit of the same set of in-house services and professional maintenance. We are located close to the world renowned Great Market Hall, and major transportation hubs are only 5 minutes away on foot. The neighborhood offers a great variety of restaurants, pubs, services, and grocery shopping, but Maverick Student Lodge has its own bar with easy-going vibes, and very reasonably priced drinks and great food as well. We offer an excellent buffet-breakfast and fun-filled social events for guests to mingle. Dorm beds feature dual outlets, curtains, and reading lamps to provide privacy and comfort. The private rooms feature unique designs and atmosphere, but even more importantly their own en-suite bathrooms: practically a nice hotel room, just better vibes. Check in between 3 PM and midnight . If you do not arrive between those hours, please contact us ahead of time. Check out is 11 AM. By that time, please empty the locker and leave the bed or private room. We can store your luggage longer if needed. // Cancellation policy: Cancellation 2 days prior to arrival is free. The full stay will be charged in case of late cancellation, if it is requested in less than 48 hours before arrival, or in case of no-show. // Smoking is not allowed on the hostel’s premises nor in the staircase. You can be fined for 200 Euros for breaking this rule. // Alcohol consumption is allowed till 11 PM. // Payment is in cash upon arrival in EUR or in HUF (Hungarian forints) based on CIB Bank Euro daily buying exchange rate.
