The Spring Festival is the largest and best-known arts festival that Budapest offers, and this year 2023 it will be celebrated in April in more than 40 venues. You’ll LOVE it if you have a thing for classical music, opera, jazz, world music or dance, contemporary circus, theatre and the visual arts. A true trademark event for the city, the festival attracts a large art-loving international crowd each year. It also hosts award-winner and famous artists.

Over 100 spring events in Budapest

The Budapest Spring Festival takes place all along April, at venues (private and public places) that are worth checking out even if you’re in town on other dates: to name the most important ones, Városháza Park and the Budapesti Kongresszusi Központ, Akvárium Klub, Kristály Színtér, Katona József Theatre, Budapest Jazz Club and GÖDÖR Club. So taking part involves a culture tour of the city, in the central district and its surroundings.
